Owner and founder of BrandVision Communications, Alison Spratley is intricately involved in all client accounts from strategy to hands on implementation.  Alison personally oversees client deliverables.

Alison’s passion for marketing is evident in the local and international brands she has proudly been associated with over the years. It was during her seven years as the Southern African Marketing Manager of Price Waterhouse, that Alison found her love of marketing and equipped herself with PRISA and IMM qualifications.  Then came the opportunity to enter the exciting and challenging world of sport.  She held the position of National Olympic Programme Manager of South Africa for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, and the 1955 Rugby World Cup Licensing Manager, which enabled her to work with some top brands including Reebok, Vodacom, Telkom, Pick ‘n Pay, Volkswagen, Nedbank and Visa.

The thrill of working in the dynamic field of marketing pushed Alison into starting her own communications consultancy BrandVision Communications.;  She established a voice for women’s golf in the local and international media and built the exposure from a mere R800 to more than R320 million in just five years.  From launching Harry Potter and the Lion King for NuMetro, to managing the communications for the Independent Electoral Commission, press functions for the President of Chile, Standard Bank’s International Joy of Jazz, marketing venues, and major international rock concerts.

Alison’s strength is realised in her rounded knowledge of the marketing realm and her meticulous detailed planning and management abilities.  She manages client relationships, daily operations, growth and direction.  She brings a pragmatic approach to PR that is solutions and success-based, as well as being creative. Nominated as the ‘Most Media Friendly’ person for two years in the SAB Journalist of the Year Awards. Alison enjoys learning more about marketing every day, and it is with this knowledge that she can and does provide a ‘full box of marketing tools’ to assist clients in defining and building their brands.
